The ability to show students the visuals of all science practical is an integral part of the learning process. This does not only make the student more informed but also gets them excited about the future of science. To make this process seamless, Siemens Stiftung designed the Experimento program to help teachers deliver science practical’s classes. In Nigeria, Empowering Africans through education initiative is the local implementing partner.

With the full support of Siemens Energy Nigeria, EAE launched the Experimento 10+ teachers training for low income schools in Apapa and Ajegunle. This program plans to target a minimum of 10 schools and 30 teachers.  During the training, The teachers would be exposed on how to use the experimento tool box to conduct experiments and teach in class. They would be trained by partnering facilitators from the University of Lagos and the Lagos Energy academy.

For the 5 days training, Teachers would be exposed to the rudiment of teaching, how to perform the practical’s, how to keep class engaged and the training would end with a demonstration in two selected schools. The program would be held at the EAE training centre, 17 Oremeta street, Oregun Ikeja between the hours of 9am to 3pm.To ensure the smooth running of the training, All teachers selected would be provided with writing materials, tea break, lunch and transportation allowances.
