From Be-MINT Star Performer to Future Global Scientist: Adebola Lawal’s Journey

Adebola Lawal is a 19 year old Biochemistry student of Obafemi Awolowo University and a proud alumni of Batch Golf in the Be-MINT program. Her journey is one of personal growth, professional development, and an unwavering determination to reach new heights.

Adebola’s Be-MINT experience was nothing short of transformative. The program equipped her with essential technical and soft skills while fostering a sense of community and connection with like-minded young people. Her exceptional dedication and performance during the training earned her the coveted title of Best Student for her batch—an achievement that boosted her confidence and motivated her to strive for excellence in everything she does.

As part of her journey, Adebola secured an internship at Tranter IT Infrastructure, a leading company specializing in online business promotion, website development, and digital services. This hands-on experience allowed her to apply the skills she gained during Be-MINT to real-world projects. From contributing to website design to supporting online services, Adebola embraced every challenge, describing the experience as “an ineffable journey.”

Reflecting on her time at Tranter IT, Adebola acknowledges the profound impact of the internship on her professional outlook. It not only gave her practical knowledge but also deepened her appreciation for the importance of innovation and teamwork in achieving success.

Now, as a Biochemistry student at Obafemi Awolowo University, Adebola continues to build on the foundation laid during her Be-MINT training. She dreams of pursuing further studies abroad to broaden her horizons and make meaningful contributions to the global scientific community.
